Rare 17th Century Inlaid Oak Coffer

A rare example 17th Century panelled oak coffer with spectacular inlaid details in bog wood with a large iron lock plate in the centre and original iron hinges.

The wooden chest stands on raised feet, pleasing mellow tones and a beautifully aged patina.
