First published just prior to the railway age and the Victorian era, this first edition map of London by Christopher and John Greenwood remains one of the finest maps of London of the period.
When this map was published, the population of London in the 1821 census was 1,250,000 rising to 1,474,000 by the 1831 census.
This map is a republished print on parchment, dissected and laid onto linen, mounted in a beautifully distressed black frame with a gold trim.
