Antique French Marquetry Mantel Clock - Signed Hatton, Paris
A beautifully decorative 19th-century French mantel clock, with richly figured wood, delicate floral marquetry and warm brass details.
Contrasting scrolling foliage and fine inlaid borders decorate the case, complemented by dark mouldings and a shaped, stepped base. An ornate brass carrying handle completes its elegant silhouette.
The white dial features black Roman numerals, decorative hands and the signature “Hatton, à Paris”, framed by a brass bezel. The removable rear panel reveals the mechanical movement and bell.
A lovely piece for a mantelpiece, console or bookshelf, bringing warmth and antique character to both traditional and contemporary interiors.
