Antique Harlequin Painted Chest of Drawers

£795.00

A characterful antique chest of drawers with later black-and-cream harlequin painted decoration, bringing a playful, graphic touch to its traditional proportions.

The diamond pattern continues across the drawer fronts, sides and top, complemented by cream-painted wooden knobs and turned feet. Two smaller drawers sit above three full-width drawers, offering useful storage for a bedroom, hallway or living space.

The distressed finish, visible brushwork and areas of exposed timber give the piece a relaxed, timeworn appearance. A lovely statement piece for mixing with warm wood, richly coloured textiles and other treasured finds.

Condition: Antique piece with later decorative paintwork. Surface marks, rubbed paint, knocks and visible timber splits are present; please examine the photographs for details
