19th Century French Oak Ebonised Display Cabinet / Bookcase

Tall, handsome and perfectly proportioned, this 19th Century French ebonised glazed cabinet is a total showstopper! 

The back panel features Cole & Son's iconic Palm Jungle wallpaper, inside there are five solid oak shelves which are height adjustable and can be re-positioned to suit your requirements. 

Please note the key is for decoration only and is also useful for opening the door.

Like with all antique / vintage pieces there may be sign of wear appropriate to age but this piece is in excellent condition and has been sensitively restored to give a smooth rich ebonised patina. Original glass except for the bottom right had panel which has been replaced. Original iron glazing bars.

Overall, a fabulous statement piece that would make an eye catching storage solution in the home. It could be a bookcase, a display case or it could be home to a collection of drinks and glassware.
